Becoming a father is a new experience with many rewards and challenges. Your partner’s pregnancy can be an exciting time, but you might also feel overwhelmed or unsure about what is expected of you.
There will be changes to your relationship as a couple, sleep, finances, and the time you spend on activities other than work.
You may be doing some things for the first time, like cooking and cleaning, to share responsibility.
In addition to changes resulting from pregnancy, you may also be adjusting to different ideas about relationships, parenting, and the roles of men and women in Australia. For example, your partner may be working and be the main wage-earner in your family.
